About the Role
Job Title: Shop Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our charity shop in Bournemouth. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for providing a brilliant shopping experience for our customers, leading a team of staff and volunteers, and achieving financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team that provides exceptional customer service and creates a welcoming shopping environment.
- Work closely with the team to coordinate activities, manage stock, and maintain a clean and organized store.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and achieve financial targets.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff and volunteers to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality store operations.
- Represent the British Red Cross in a professional manner and embody our core values.
Requirements:
- Proven retail experience at supervisory level, with a strong track record of delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase revenue.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and volunteers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
