Key Responsibilities- Develop a robust air freight sales pipeline across key sectors, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market research and proactive outreach.
- Manage enquiries, RFQs, and tenders from inception to conclusion, ensuring that new business is in line with our internal financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Air Product team to craft customer-centric value propositions and present compelling, value-adding solutions aligned with DB Schenker's standards.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of our air business unit in the UK, developing and maintaining influential relationships within potential major clients.
- You have a proven sales record in acquiring new business and exceeding sales targets.
- You possess a significant background in Air or multi-modal freight forwarding.
- You have experience in managing tenders leading to significant opportunities.
- You are skilled at building trust and establishing high-quality relationships with customers.
- You demonstrate effective presentation skills and excellent written and spoken English.
