We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Longridge Hall Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional person-centered care to our residents, ensuring a warm, happy, and homely environment is maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake any necessary training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Support our residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and getting involved with daily activities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to our residents.
- Support our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focused on their individual hobbies, preferences, and abilities.
- Maintain high standards within the care home environment.
- Senior-level duties to support the Home Manager, which may involve staff supervision, appraisals, record-keeping, liaising with outside professionals, and interviewing.
Requirements
- Supervisory/leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
- A positive outlook and warm personality.
- Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards.
- Confident in record-keeping and the use of various technologies.
- Able to remain calm and guide colleagues under pressure.
- Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents.
