About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced social worker to join our Children Looked After Teams on a part-time job share basis. As a Part-Time Adoption Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality social work services to children and young people.

This role provides an opportunity for you to work with children and young people from 0-18 years old whose care plan is to achieve permanency via adoption or long-term care. You will have the chance to develop strong relationships with children and young people, plan, safeguard, and support them to achieve their best potential.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a Social Work England registered social worker with a professional social work qualification, or equivalent. You should have demonstrable experience of working within a busy service and be able to manage an independent workload effectively.

The salary range for this role is £17,430 - £19,510 per annum (pro-rata) for 2 days per week, and £21,788 - £24,387 per annum (pro-rata) for 2.5 days per week.
