We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a School Nurse for Children and Young People. This role offers the opportunity to work in a variety of settings across England, providing care and support to children and young people.

Job Summary:

  • Provide expert care and support to children and young people in educational settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local schools and healthcare providers.
  • Promote health and wellbeing among children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

Main Duties
  • Assess patient conditions, arrange diagnostic tests, and provide appropriate care.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations, escalating when necessary.
  • Display analytical ability and sound decision-making in changing clinical situations.
  • Recognize limitations and escalate concerns to ensure patient safety.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a School Nurse environment within the last 2 years.
  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing, with NMC registration.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
