Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to work in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining plant and facilities to a high standard
  • Ensuring plant downtime meets targets
  • Maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workplace
  • Managing and improving plant and facilities, ensuring all works comply with SHE guidelines
  • Maintaining engineering stores, including stock and inventory levels
  • Demonstrating continuous improvement
  • Reporting and recording all works using CMM systems
  • Building and maintaining working relationships with customer departments within the business
  • Assisting with engineering solutions and cost-effective repairs
  • Supporting the production and maintenance team to ensure the plant exceeds its targets for performance, quality, and safety
About You:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A time-served apprenticeship, preferably multi-skilled
  • Qualified NVQ level 3 minimum
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good SHE awareness
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Good fault-finding skills
  • Experience with TPM and PPM systems
  • Good IT skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
