Job Title: Nurse Specialist Colorectal

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Nurse Specialist Colorectal, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with suspected lower GI cancer on the RACC pathway.

The successful candidate will have substantial post-registration experience within colorectal nursing, as well as experience of managing patients on the RACC lower GI pathway. You will also have completed a portfolio of supervised practice in General Surgery/Colorectal Care/Stoma Care.

We offer a competitive salary of £44,742 - £57,191 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and training. As a Nurse Specialist Colorectal, you will be responsible for independently assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatments and interventions for patients on the RACC pathway. You will also undertake physical examinations, autonomously analysing complex clinical signs and investigation results to consider differential diagnoses and diagnose conditions, initiating treatment as required.
