About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the DTD&I FalconWorks team as a Project Manager, supporting the Odyssey Training Transformation Programme. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing aspects of the Project lifecycle, enabling the Project to meet customer needs and achieve financial or other targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Project lifecycle, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and control
  • Contributing to organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for measurement and review
  • Assisting the user community in transition support and change planning, and liaising with the project team
  • Monitoring and reporting progress on business readiness targets, business engagement activity, and key operational metrics
  • Providing informed feedback to assess and promote understanding, capturing and disseminating technical and business information
  • Utilising methods, tools, techniques, and selecting appropriately from plan-driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches

Requirements:

  • Awareness of business unit policies and processes
  • Experience of working in an IT Function
  • Excellent customers and stakeholder management

About the Team:

The role will be deployed from the DTS PMO into the DTD&I FalconWorks team to support the Odyssey Training Transformation Programme. The programme has 6 work streams, and this role will be responsible for the project management of the IT and Facilities work packages within the programme and dual report into the DTD&I Business Partner as well as a dotted line into the Overall Odyssey project.
