Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate referrals and provide guidance to individuals experiencing difficulties with gambling.
  • Develop and implement recovery-oriented care plans, working closely with service users to monitor outcomes.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, promote the work of our service, and build partnerships with community organizations.
  • Provide advice, screening, and comprehensive assessments to individuals affected by gambling harms or addiction.
  • Lead group programs and support groups for service users, their friends, and family members.
Requirements
  • Minimum level 4 qualification in a relevant field, such as health and social care, social work, education, community, mental health, or health promotion.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary setting, across multiple teams, and with vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to provide one-on-one interventions and work independently.
  • Desirable: experience working with individuals affected by gambling harms or addiction.
