Senior Theatre Practitioner – Ortho/Scrub/Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our orthopaedic theatre team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing clinical and managerial leadership to our team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective care to patients during their peri-operative phase of care.
- Support and coordinate the management and organisation of care within the operating department.
- Provide quality planned care for patients by ensuring all team members deliver high-quality patient care through appropriate clinical and managerial leadership.
- Lead in the delivery of patient care during a list or specified period of time.
- Ensure patient safety checks are carried out in accordance with policy and that all practitioners adhere to policy.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self.
- Promote evidence-based practice within own scope of practice.
- Apply legislation, policies, and procedures correctly.
- Achieve agreed objectives and demonstrate Circle Health Group behaviours at all times.
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty.
- ENB 998 and/or mentorship course.
- Approved/recognised anaesthetic course.
- ILS.
- Orthopaedic skill.
- Mentorship qualification.
- ILM3.
- Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment.
- Previous experience managing and leading a clinical team.
