We are seeking a skilled Data Center Facilities Manager to join our team at GRAFT RECRUITMENT LTD. This role involves overseeing the electrical systems in our data center facilities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Electrical System Performance
  • Monitor electrical systems through the use of building management systems and other relevant tools.
  • Generate reports on electrical system performance and propose improvements based on data analysis.
  • Respond to alarms and alerts related to electrical systems and take corrective actions as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical facilities engineers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of electrical-related projects and upgrades.
Electrical System Maintenance
  • Oversee and maintain electrical systems, including power distribution units, generators, UPS systems, and associated components.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and rectify electrical faults and anomalies promptly.
Emergency Procedures
  • Act as a first responder during electrical emergencies, implementing emergency procedures to safeguard data center operations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized electrical repairs.

The salary for this position is estimated at £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
