About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled fundraiser to make a real difference in the lives of men affected by prostate cancer. As a Senior Philanthropy Executive, you will be responsible for securing significant gifts from trusts, foundations, and major donors, and for developing and maintaining strong relationships with these stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive major donor strategy, targeting trusts, foundations, and major donors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including trusts, foundations, and major donors
- Secure significant gifts from trusts, foundations, and major donors, with a focus on five and six-figure donations
- Work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Head of Appeal to develop and implement the charity's major appeal strategy
- Provide support to the Philanthropy Manager in relationship management and fundraising activities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in philanthropy fundraising, with a track record of securing significant gifts from trusts, foundations, and major donors
- An extensive portfolio of excellent relationship management with trusts, foundations, and major donors
- Strong experience in managing income and expenditure budgets
We offer a competitive salary of £34,000 - £37,000, a permanent, full-time contract with flexible working options, and the opportunity to work with a leading charity dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of men affected by prostate cancer.
