Job Title: Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator to join VRS Regulatory, a specialist scientific recruiter, in their Regulatory Affairs and Risk Assessment division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the import and export of DG cargo, ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including suppliers, freight forwarders, warehousing, production, and customers, to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory management and record keeping.
  • Prepare and manage weekly delivery schedules, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Assist with forecasting and planning, ensuring optimal product supply and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • Liaise with logistics, freight forwarders, suppliers, customers, and production to ensure optimal product supply and compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately record and manage data.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of organization and prioritization.
  • Experience in chemical production or manufacturing sectors and the handling of hazardous cargo would be advantageous but not essential.
