About the Role

We are seeking a talented Junior Web Developer to join our dynamic digital team at EPLS Design. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our clients' websites and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks across the digital team, including website support and maintenance, full-stack development, and collaborative project work.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to develop websites and digital solutions for a variety of clients, from simple landing pages to bespoke WordPress-powered websites.
  • Develop fully-responsive email templates and campaigns using the MJML framework.
  • Get involved in building custom blocks for WordPress using PHP and React, and develop in-house solutions and innovations.
Requirements
  • Basic experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6)
  • Some experience with PHP and MySQL
  • Familiarity with the WordPress CMS and its plugin ecosystem
  • An understanding of how back-end and front-end development work together
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning
