Project Engineer Opportunity

Alink Recruitment Limited is partnering with a leading engineering consultancy to find a skilled Project Engineer with a strong background in rail projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, engineer, and manage infrastructure projects in the UK
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects
  • Represent the company at client-facing meetings with confidence and credibility
  • Work closely with external staff, stakeholders, and the internal team

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Degree in Engineering (BSc, MSc, or MEng)
  • At least 3+ years of professional engineering design/design management experience in transportation, water, and/or land development projects
  • Experience in the Rail Industry and a sound understanding of the Rail Environment, rules, and regulations
  • Experience with Network Rail GRIP, PACE, and/or TfL Pathway
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure within time constraints
  • Ability to learn quickly and drive knowledge growth
  • Proven capability to build relationships and work in multidisciplinary teams
  • Computer literacy and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)

Desirable Criteria:

  • AutoCAD drafting and 3D/BIM modelling
  • Masters of Science Degree in Engineering Subject or related
