About the Role

This is a pivotal position requiring a skilled Machine Operator to support our work across various sites nationally. The ideal candidate will have a background in waterways or construction, with experience using Vegetation / Forestry Equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Support in scoping works, method statement preparation, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure adherence to site plans, following written or verbal instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Care for equipment, ensuring cleanliness and damage prevention.
  • Conduct pre-start equipment checks, documenting findings and submitting reports.
  • Routine maintenance and lubrication of equipment.
  • Operate plant or equipment within trained capabilities.
  • Adhere to relevant legislation, including Health and Safety at Work, LOLER, COSH, etc.
Essential Requirements
  • A valid CPCS Cardholder qualification.
  • Proven experience operating a 360 Excavator.
  • Desirable qualifications in Dumper forward tipping and other relevant areas.
  • A minimum 5-year experience in the role.
