Senior Project Manager

PSR Solutions are currently working with a Rail contractor, who are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Kent. They are working on rail and heavy civils projects around the South East.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual and safety requirements.
  • Deliver projects from design phase to completion, including handover documentation.
  • Approve and implement project quality plans, safety plans, work package plans, ITPs, and Tool Box Talks.
  • Deliver contracts safely, fostering a positive safety culture.
  • Ensure project cash entitlement is applied for and recovered in accordance with the contract.
  • Chair weekly site meetings and ensure accurate records of discussions and actions.
  • Be responsible for the operational and commercial success of allocated projects, ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with legal, client, and company requirements, policies, and instructions.
Criteria for the Position:
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in rail construction techniques and processes.
  • Proven experience in delivering rail projects.
  • Previously delivered multi-disciplinary works.
  • Previously worked on NEC Contracts.
  • Good understanding of rail, but worked on earthworks, piling, or drainage projects in the past.
  • Ability to work under pressure, remaining focused and professional.
  • Ability to positively influence others to achieve results.
