Mental Health Support Opportunity

Care Assistant wanted for a full-time position in a SEMH School catering for pupils aged 8-16 years in Harrogate. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students who have Social and Emotional Mental Health needs.

The main duties of a SEMH Support Assistant will include:

  • Classroom support for pupils on a daily basis.
  • Delivering 1-2-1 support and interventions for multiple students.
  • Supporting pupils' overall development according to their Educational Health Care Plans.
  • Managing and handling challenging student behaviour effectively.
