We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant in schools across Leicestershire and Loughborough.
About the Job:This role involves working as part of a dedicated team to support children with SEND in mainstream schools, SEN environments, or PRUs. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in SEN, behavior management, and teaching methodologies.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to develop and implement IEPs
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEND
- Assist with personal care tasks, ensuring dignity and comfort
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
- An estimated salary of £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications
- Flexible work options, including short-term and long-term contracts, full-time and part-time roles
- Skill-building opportunities in SEN, mainstream settings, and behavior management
- DBS support and assistance with registration on the Update Service
- A referral bonus scheme, offering up to £250 for successful recommendations
