Key Responsibilities- Participate in all aspects of analytical work and adhere to the 'Standards of Proficiency' as defined by the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new laboratory techniques and methodologies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve and develop working practices, ensuring a high level of patient care and safety.
- Provide training and support to junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Contribute to the maintenance of laboratory accreditation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Biomedical Scientist.
- IBMS accredited BSC in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent.
- Experience with a range of laboratory techniques, including clinical biochemistry, haematology, and blood transfusion.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
