SEND Food Technology Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Food Technology teacher to join our team at a specialized SEND school in Durham. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to adapt to a changing environment and a passion for delivering a safe and comfortable learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Food Technology to SEND pupils with various needs
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Assess and report on student progress
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in teaching (QTS)
  • Excellent behavioural management skills
  • Experience working within a SEND environment (desirable)
  • Expertise in Food Technology
