Job Summary:

Protocol National Limited is seeking experienced Education Support Workers to join our team of professionals working within Primary Schools in Chesterfield. Roles are available on a full-time or part-time basis to fit around your current commitments. Previous experience working in schools/with children in support or care settings is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide vital support to the classroom teacher in delivering quality education and care to primary school students.
  • Assist with various aspects of classroom management and student support, including pastoral and academic support.
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant within a school or similar relevant experience working with children.
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are beneficial, however not essential.
  • A kind and caring persona, willing to be hands-on and proactive.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to submit a DBS application.
