Hours: 13:30 – 00:00 (4-Days) per week Mon-Thurs.
Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 DOE
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Mould Setter/Operator to join our team in Alton, UK. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for evaluating technical needs, prioritizing work assignments, and ensuring work is completed in a timely manner.
You will develop, implement, and maintain a proactive technical presence on the shop floor, utilizing 'Best Practices' and GMP tools to enhance manufacturing processes. Your duties will include performing mould set ups and changes, supporting NPI tool trials, and performing preventative and real-time maintenance on primary tooling, machinery, and auxiliary equipment.
You will also take a proactive approach to planning the workload of the shift to minimize downtime, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems, and support the company with quality objectives related to ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 Rev D.
Requirements:- Technical knowledge to perform the tasks outlined in the description
- Analytical problem-solving skills to take a systematic approach to find the root cause and develop appropriate corrective action
- Leadership skills to evaluate strengths and development opportunities of technical support on the team and assign responsibilities to maximize these resources
- Ability to work independently and coordinate efforts with the overall shift goals as established by the Shift Supervisor
- Requires lifting of objects in excess of 15-20 Kg's to chest height, and there must be sufficient arm strength to properly torque bolts
- Must have the physical skills to kneel, sit, and bend to perform the necessary maintenance of the equipment
- Holidays: (Starting @ 22-days + Banks Holiday (Gain extra year after every year of working up to 27 days Per Annum)
