We are seeking a dedicated SEN teacher to join our team at Stannard School in Dunstable. As an SEN class teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a small bespoke class group of up to 6 pupils with the support of a teaching assistant.

Job Overview
  • Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure a high standard of education.

The estimated salary for this role is £32,000-£42,000 per annum, based on the location and job requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
  • Ensure adherence to school policies and procedures in line with the school values.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Successful SEN teaching experience.
  • A good knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every student.
