Carbon60 - Eng&Tech is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join their production team in Abingdon, Oxford. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical assembly of bespoke machinery.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled technician to assemble bespoke machinery from start to finish, based on schematic and layout drawings. This will involve fitting, wiring, and building electrical panels, installing electrical components according to schematics, and performing electrical wiring based on schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble bespoke machinery from start to finish based on schematic and layout drawings.
  • Fitting, wiring, and building electrical panels.

  • Utilising hand tools, measuring equipment, hand drills, and pillar drills.
  • Working efficiently to meet strict deadlines.
  • Collaborating with other departments to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to read schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail, able to work accurately in a high-precision environment.
  • Ability to use hand tools such as wire strippers and hand drills.
  • Module wiring including soldered connectors.
  • Good time management.
  • Quality assurance identifying faulting finding and repairs.
