Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at PRS in Abingdon. This is a temporary opportunity that requires the right candidate to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, performing routine maintenance checks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance checks on all HVAC equipment.
- Unscheduled Repairs: Respond promptly to unscheduled repairs and maintenance requests.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless project execution.
- Technical Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- Time Management: Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- C&G in Mechanical and/or HVAC engineering (or equivalent).
- General plant maintenance including drives and belts, pumps, etc.
- On-site mechanical experience (2+ years).
- Health & Safety Awareness.
- Experience in breakdowns and reactive works.

PRS offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package to attract the right candidate. The estimated annual salary for this position is £39,360 based on 37 hours per week at £19.00 per hour.
