Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Production Technician to join our team at Serve Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective assembly of automotive mechanisms, meeting our dynamic production targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a fast-paced automotive assembly and production environment to achieve business objectives.
  • Perform assembly tasks, including but not limited to, following written work instructions and operating end-of-line quality test equipment.
  • Pick and prepare build kits in line with bill of materials.
  • Conduct quality inspections of own work and the work of others, adhering to processes and standards.
  • Read and understand written work instructions, and prepare parts for shipping, including cleaning of final assemblies.
  • Update production paperwork and maintain health and safety standards at all times.
  • Continuously clean and tidy work areas and equipment, and work as a team player to achieve customer quality.
  • Support stock control by alerting when inventory drops below set levels.
  • Adept and practice Kaizen principles and concepts, and follow all departmental general procedures and procedures for this position as indicated in the level II procedure manual.
Requirements
  • Ability to use hand tools and follow work instructions to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and ability to self-inspect work to ensure quality defects are mitigated and a continual pursuit of perfection.
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and operate end-of-line quality test equipment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and desire for personal development.
  • Proactive approach to work, eye for detail, and a big focus on quality.
  • Punctual and flexible approach to work hours to meet customer demand.
  • Strong team player with self-motivation and ability to take direction well.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
