Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Health and Social Care Specialist to join our team. As a Personal Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support a caseload of learners with progressive visits, observations, and providing outstanding teaching and learning to further enhance the knowledge and teaching our learners receive from our recently introduced Elevate programme.
  • Use our sophisticated LMS system BUD to monitor your learners' progress and work in collaboration with our Learning Support for any learners who require Functional Skills or Additional Learning Support.
  • Engage, motivate, and inspire learners to achieve their work-based qualification.
  • Provide innovative and impactful teaching and learning.
  • Manage a minimum funded diverse caseload of learners across HSC levels 4-5.
  • Deliver an outstanding experience for all learners and employers.
  • Stretch and challenge your learners to succeed and reach their potential.
  • Provide valuable and insightful feedback to every learner to stretch and challenge them and enable further professional development.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with our employer partners.
  • Champion and encourage the use of Elevate Workshops.
  • Drive progression through impactful visits.
  • Provide detailed feedback to learners and employers following review meetings or observations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Level 3 Assessor (CAVA, TAQA, D32, A1, V1)
  • Teaching qualification (AET, PTTLS)
  • Level 5 qualifications within the Health & Social Care sector
  • Experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning
  • Experience of managing a diverse caseload
  • Knowledge and experience of EPA
  • Access to a car and able to travel for in-person learner observations, 1:1s, and team meetings
