Job Title: Care Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Officer to join our team at Dundee City Council. As a Care Officer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in one of our care homes for the elderly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver person-centered care and support, promoting the independence and well-being of our residents.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that the needs of our residents are met.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with older people, people with dementia, or physical disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
