About the RoleWe're seeking a talented Electrical Engineer Team Lead to join our team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for scoping out electrical HV/LV designs for distributed generation products, producing concept designs, and overseeing detailed design, commissioning support, and handover.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical HV/LV systems for PV plants, including roof mount, ground mount, car canopy, and floating solar systems.
- Create layouts and outline designs of HV/LV systems for commercial/industrial scale PV plants.
- Develop detailed designs, including drawings, cable schedules, calculations, and design risk assessments.
- Collaborate with other engineers and teams on projects, ensuring a successful outcome.
- Stay up-to-date with commercial/industrial LV electrical systems, British Standards, and industry developments.
- 5+ years of experience in HV/LV distribution power systems, preferably in the distributed generation and renewables sectors.
- Strong understanding of commercial/industrial LV electrical systems, British Standards, and industry developments.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and cable sizing software packages.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
