Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Care Experienced Young People Lead to join our pharmacy team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of care-experienced young people and contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care.

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies to support care-experienced young people in accessing safe and effective medicines.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to provide expert advice on medication usage, availability, and inventory control.
  • Manage the coordination of pharmacy support services and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Implement systems to promote continuous quality improvement in patient care.
Requirements
  • Registration with the GPhC.
  • Final Accuracy Checking accreditation.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Management or leadership course.
  • CIPs accreditation or equivalent.
