Job Description

At Capgemini Engineering, we are seeking a skilled Verification and Validation engineer to join our team. As a key member of our HW V&V team, you will be responsible for creating and executing test cases for satellite/payload testing (SDR – Software defined radio).

You will work closely with the Test Development team, ensuring effective communication and conveying information to stakeholders with expertise in both hardware and software domains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test cases for satellite/payload testing
  • Collaborate with the Test Development team to ensure effective communication and information sharing
  • Contribute to the development of software algorithms and operational systems against user-defined requirements
  • Validate software algorithms and operational systems using automated systems validation/regression testing
  • Develop test cases using protocol simulators (intermediate knowledge of Java programming is mandatory)
  • Work with real-time operating systems (free-RtOS, or embedded Linux with real-time extensions), systems programming, concurrency, and scheduling
