We are seeking a skilled Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team at RSK Geosciences in Tonbridge, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a rewarding and challenging career with opportunities for Continuous Professional Development.
The Geosciences team provides consultancy and design services to a range of external clients, including engineers, house-builders, oil companies, and local authorities. As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will participate in a variety of geo-environmental projects, including soil sampling, water monitoring, and site investigation data preparation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing factual and interpretative reports
- Preparing factual site investigation data
- Traveling to other offices and sites within the UK (as needed)
Requirements include:
- BSc or equivalent in Geology, Environmental Science, or similar
- Working towards membership of a relevant professional body with a longer-term goal to move toward chartership with a relevant institution
- Basic knowledge of planning legislation
- Experience of site inspections and reporting, preferably on residential developments
- Able to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy
- In possession of a full UK driving license
