We are seeking an experienced Group Reporting Assistant to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of first-class internal and external financial reporting, producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts, and working closely with the group reporting accountant and group finance manager to provide regular review of financial accounting standards and updates.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing internal and external financial reporting in line with changes to financial reporting frameworks
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts and group consolidation schedules
- Manage the drawdown, repayment, and roll-over of RCF facility within the group
- Update cash forecasts and provide weekly updates on cash position and liquidity requirements to senior management
- Reconcile intercompany balances within group entities on a monthly basis and liaise with subsidiaries team to resolve variances
- Prepare and produce standalone statutory accounts for property and holding companies within the group
- Assist in preparation and production of annual and interim financial statements
- Work closely with tax advisors on corporation tax and VAT to ensure timely and accurate tax calculations, filings, and payments
- Experience in preparation of management accounts and statutory accounts
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, maintaining and building relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Competitive salary of £38k-£45k
