Job Title: Chef de Partie

We are looking for a skilled food service specialist to join our Domestic Department at Wellington College Prep. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality food across different styles and periods, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.

We are committed to providing an excellent experience for our pupils, staff, and visitors, and we expect our kitchen team members to maintain the highest standards of customer service. The successful candidate will work closely with the catering team to deliver themed menus and ensure that all food is prepared safely and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To prepare and serve a variety of food offers in different food styles across the day and evening.
  • To provide exceptional customer service to our pupils, staff, and visitors.
  • To assist in pre-service briefings and adhere to company procedures regarding food safety and hygiene.

Person Specification:

  • General Secondary Education (English and Maths essential)
  • Good spoken and written English
  • NVQ qualification or equivalent
  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Successful progressive background in catering
  • Working within a customer-focused environment
  • Good working knowledge of Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Allergens

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, which includes benefits such as free lunch while on duty, generous holiday entitlement, and subsidised membership to the Wellington Health & Fitness Club.
