We are looking for a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at Wellington College Prep, a leading independent school in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled culinary professional to work on a full-time, term-time basis (34 weeks per year) with a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.

About Us

Nestled in 32 acres of stunning countryside, we boast state-of-the-art facilities and a proud history of progressive education. Our Domestic Department is seeking a dedicated individual who can deliver high-quality food experiences across different styles and periods throughout the day and evening.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver themed menus to meet the standards set out in our Service Level Agreement.
  • Participate in pre-service briefings to discuss allergens, food intolerances, and special dietary requirements.
  • Maintain strict adherence to company procedures regarding temperature checks, food labelling and dating, cleaning schedules, and hygiene regulations.

Requirements

  • General Secondary Education with a focus on English and Maths.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • A valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Progressive experience in catering with a strong understanding of Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Allergens.
