Maintenance Team Coordinator

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Controller to join their team. As a key member of the equipment hire company, this role will be responsible for managing the maintenance of tools, plant, and powered access equipment nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Handling Enquiries: Respond to hire and service enquiries via internal systems and communicate effectively with colleagues to provide a helpful and friendly point of contact.
- Breakdown Management: Manage calls from customers and coordinate with the engineering team to arrange for prompt attendance at breakdowns.
- Job Card Management: Update job cards on the internal database and allocate jobs efficiently to ensure the correct equipment is dispatched to customer sites.
- Machine Availability: Check the availability of equipment and ensure its status is always up-to-date in our systems.
- Coordination: Collaborate with the engineering and transport teams to ensure the correct equipment is ready and delivered to customer sites.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the Plant, Powered Access, Tool, or Material Handling industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
