We are currently recruiting for a Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a leading insurer in the UK market.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Casualty and Specialty Portfolio Claims Team, handling a portfolio of Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Claims.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful and growing insurer, with a wide range of development opportunities on offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Full management of a portfolio of Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Claims, from first notification to conclusion.
- Setting the claims strategy and handling internally where possible.
- Ensuring the selection, instruction and active management of external advisers and experts.
- Liaising and negotiating with customers, brokers, claimants and their representatives.
- Demonstrating excellent file handling and claims management skills.
- Working closely with Underwriters to win and retain business and develop the company's insurance products.
- Assisting in the continuous improvement of the company's Claims service by identifying areas of opportunity and helping to create innovative solutions.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in claims handling and management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of insurance products and claims processes.
