About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Manager to join our team at She Does Data. As a key member of our Data & Analytics Team, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization's data-centric strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Data Governance Frameworks: Establish and enforce data management and governance frameworks across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Integrate Data Governance Processes: Ensure seamless integration of data governance processes across all business units, promoting a culture of data excellence.
  • Assign and Support Data Owners and Stewards: Collaborate with data sponsors, owners, and department leaders to assign and support data owners and stewards in managing critical data assets.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer expert guidance on data management methodologies, data quality, and data protection regulations, including GDPR.
  • Lead Initiatives: Drive initiatives to enhance data quality, resolve issues, and keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, data governance, or related fields.
  • Strong Understanding: Comprehensive understanding of data management practices across the data lifecycle, including tools, methodologies, and architecture.
  • Knowledge of Regulations: Familiarity with data protection regulations, including GDPR, and ability to communicate their importance effectively.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to think strategically, lead a small team, and communicate complex issues to stakeholders at all levels.
