About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to join our team at a Kensington and Chelsea Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons to students
  • Assist with the management of student behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional help
  • Contribute to the development of educational resources and materials
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to achieve educational goals

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a primary school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers and other staff members
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
