**Job Title:** Accounts Assistant

Handle Recruitment Limited is working alongside a live music and events company to fill an Accounts Assistant role. The position will be based within a small, dynamic accounting function and report directly to the Finance Director.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to make a significant impact on the development of the company in the live music sector. You will be a key player in the running of the accounts function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with month-end procedures
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Company expenses management

The ideal candidate will be an individual eager to begin or in the early stages of their ACCA/CIMA qualifications. Evidence of aptitude with numerical data, such as a numerate degree or accountancy exam passes, is essential. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, as well as a track record of meeting challenging deadlines, are also required.

The successful candidate will have the ability and maturity to interact regularly with a range of staff throughout the business. 1-2 years' experience working in a finance team is necessary, although relevant experience in music and/or events management is helpful but not essential.

Educated to degree level with strong academics, the successful candidate will be competent, self-motivated, and trustworthy, with a bright and enthusiastic personality.

Salary:** £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
