">Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Education Sector Manager to lead our education portfolio and drive excellence and innovation. As part of our national education team, you will oversee projects and develop strong relationships with clients, including the Department for Education (DfE).

The successful candidate will have senior-level experience within a UK construction organisation and possess excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. They will also be able to apply strategic thinking and work collaboratively with teams to achieve project goals.

  • Act as a single point of contact for DfE Regional and Programme Managers
  • Support project delivery teams at key gateways and monitor performance to ensure delivery aligns with DfE framework requirements
  • Be a consistent oversight for every project from inception to defects liability period
  • Train and inform delivery teams on local competition protocol, PI requirements, and timescales for delivery

As a key member of our education team, you will work closely with our Education Director and collaborate with regional businesses to track opportunities and agree bid/no-bid decisions.

In this role, you will attend Bidders' Days, commercial attractiveness assessments, and design team meetings as appropriate during bidding stages. You will also provide strategic oversight of the transition from bidding to operational teams at SPM and construction phases.

The salary for this position is estimated to be £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including generous holiday entitlement, corporate discounts, and professional development opportunities.
