As a Culinary Trainee at Miller & Carter, you will have the opportunity to learn the art of cooking while contributing to a vibrant kitchen environment. Your culinary creations will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy memorable dining experiences.

  • Follow recipes and cook according to specifications

No prior experience is required; we are committed to teaching you the essential skills needed to thrive in a professional kitchen. If you have a passion for cooking and a desire to learn, we will guide you in becoming an integral part of our culinary team.

What You Can Expect from Your Apprenticeship:

  • Regular face-to-face and virtual check-ins every 4-6 weeks
  • A blend of on-the-job training and workshops
  • Progress reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and Trainer
  • Feedback sessions to monitor your development
  • Opportunities to obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths
  • 30 hours of paid work each week

Compensation:

For those aged 16-20, the hourly wage is £8.60, while individuals aged 21 and over will earn £11.44.

At Miller & Carter, you will embark on a journey towards achieving a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship over a 15-month period.
