Job Description

As a Personal Care Specialist with Home Instead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and independence of our clients. This rewarding role offers flexible evening and weekend shifts, making it an ideal opportunity for those looking for part-time work or non-traditional hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support and companionship to clients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding when required.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or mental conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, helping them stay connected with family and friends.

Benefits:

  • Average hourly rate of £12.00 per hour, increasing to £14.00 with benefits.
  • Higher rates for evenings and weekends.
  • Paid travel between clients (some restrictions apply).
  • Paid travel expenses.
  • Paid during training.
  • Minimum 1-hour visits.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid UK driving license and own car.
  • To reside locally within our franchise region.
  • To be prepared to cover evenings and alternate weekends.
  • To have the right to work in the UK.
