Job Title: Pharmaceutical Development Polymer Scientist

Job Summary:

Ferring Pharmaceuticals is seeking a talented Polymer Scientist to join our innovative Pharmaceutical Product Development team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and optimizing polymer-based materials for use in drug-device combination product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and synthesize novel polymers for specific medical applications.
  • Characterize polymer materials using techniques such as rheology, mechanical testing, IR, and NMR.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate polymer materials into drug-device combination products.
  • Communicate findings through detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in polymer science or related field.
  • Proven experience in polymer synthesis, characterization, and processing.
  • Experience in the development of medical devices or pharmaceutical products is highly desirable.
