About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Support Manager to oversee the catering operations in a group of 12 schools across Wolverhampton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our schools deliver exceptional food quality and service to our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage catering teams to ensure seamless operations across multiple sites
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure effective people administration, ordering, stock management, and audits
  • Recruit, train, and develop catering teams to meet business needs
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor operations and provide support as needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in education catering, preferably in a management role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
