About the Role:

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring that every quality, safety, and legislative box is ticked. You will be the face of the site in managing customer relationships and exceeding standards. As a technical expert, you will oversee a team of Quality Assurance, Compliance, and Hygiene Managers and own the technical budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve quality, safety, and efficiency in chilled food manufacturing
  • Lead root cause investigations for non-compliance and develop corrective actions
  • Manage audit programmes, health and safety, and change management initiatives
  • Train and develop staff to ensure they meet industry standards
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a motivated individual with a Level 4 HACCP and Food Safety qualification and experience in chilled food manufacturing. A solid understanding of Tesco PIU and BRC audits is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to stand their ground are also required.
