About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to support young learners across Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing learning support and teaching assistance to our students, as well as 1:1 support for those with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the behaviour of pupils with additional needs within a classroom environment.
  • De-escalate any behavioural concerns during lessons in an appropriate manner and in accordance with safeguarding specifications.
  • Be prepared and confident in supporting the students with their learning and additional requirements.
  • Have a non-judgemental approach to students and their learning abilities.
  • Awareness of safeguarding practices and the importance of effective pastoral care.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Will be enthusiastic and proactive in their attitude to the role.
  • Will have a consistent and objective approach to pupils both in and outside of the classroom.
  • Will be passionate about educating young people and instilling confidence in students' abilities in lessons.
  • Will have knowledge and awareness of SEN needs and any implemented academic adjustments.
  • Will have a proven track record in similar roles or institutions and the right to work in the UK.
