Civil Engineering Internship Opportunity

SLR's Civil and Structural Engineering team in Edinburgh has an exciting opportunity for a 3rd or 4th year Engineering student to gain experience working in a leading environmental consultancy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support our team on a wide variety of projects across the renewable energy, waste and recycling, and environmental engineering sectors.
  2. Work on projects from Design through to Site Supervision, gaining insight into consultancy and interesting and varied projects.
  3. Develop holistic approaches to projects by understanding and learning about other technical disciplines throughout the company.
  4. Work closely with Engineers in our Edinburgh office and potentially on active construction sites throughout Scotland.

We encourage individuals to develop a willingness to learn and ability to cope with working on different types of projects simultaneously. A full driving license is required.

Requirements
  1. Ability to work independently and be organised and a logical thinker.
  2. Numerate and confident with data and IT literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. General understanding of Civil Engineering principles.
