Location: Burntwood

Hours: Monday to Friday 0800-1800

Salary: £27,000

We are seeking a skilled Transport Administrator to join our client's successful team. As a key member of the transport team, you will be responsible for managing the transport diary across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the transport diary, ensuring all transport-related activities are coordinated and executed efficiently.
  • Develop and implement transportation policies, procedures, and standards to optimize routes and reduce costs.
  • Monitor transportation expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide administrative support to the transport team, including correspondence and data entry.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a transport environment, preferably with planning and coordination responsibilities.
  • Excellent administration skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and multitask.
